Q: Will this improve my physical practice?

Absolutely. Beyond the many hours of personalized practice attention, you will understand your anatomical and functional body. Allowing for extensive comprehension of movement.

Q: What else is provided beyond physical practice?

Each week has one hour or more dedicated to meditation and Ayurveda. Talks on philosophy, mindful techniques, history of yoga, alternate yoga practices, breathwork, community care...

Q: Will I learn to present?

We understand this is a huge step for many people. From the beginning, we work in small groups talking and sharing. As our program progresses, we work with our fellow teachers to project and lead, with compassion. Our final week, we allow time for sharing with the community.

Q: Will I be able to teach classes after completion?

Yes. A major element from weeks 5 to 12 is formulating a successful class. Subtle ways to improve your class. Teaching how to connect in a manner that is authentic to you. The inclusion of diverse yoga types is to expand your mind and allow you to incorporate the best elements from each. With our Yoga Alliance 200hr certified training, you will be registered with an internaltional recognized certification body. Opening doors that are not available to everybody.

Q: Do you offer support after graduation?

Please ask the current graduates. Jill and Jason are in continual contact with each. Providing support in the best method for individual. Helping with asana development, assist in flow creation, insight into understanding students, sounding board for concerns and guidance to employment opportunities. 12 weeks sounds like a lot of time, but with all the education that occurs in the timeframe, it is difficult to ingest it all. Jill and Jason understand this fact and are open for support. 1 day, 1 month, 1 year, a lifetime after graduation.

Lead Instructors:
Jill Mollenhauer (500hr RYT, 200hr E-RYT)
Jason Diaz (200hr E-RYT, Ayurveda Practitioner)

+ Information about Jill

My yoga journey began over 20 years ago. Little did I know what an important role it would play in my life. I was fascinated by the physical aspects, as many of us are. Yoga quickly provided much more. As life brought about marriage, a child, a move away from family, a second child, a career,... During the chaos my practice was off and on, I felt the imbalances and thought to myself... make a commitment to ME, perhaps yoga teacher certification. There was never going to be a perfect time, so with a husband who supported the idea, but traveled a lot and kiddos ages 8 and 10, I jumped in.

I received my first 200 hour certification in May of 2008, immediately started teaching and have never stopped. Since then I have earned an advanced 500 hour certification, in Yin Yoga, with one of its pioneers, Paul Grilley. He taught me that yoga is for every-body. Learning about the anatomy and in particular, our connective tissue, has strengthened my ability to guide all types of yoga while adapting to the student's needs, not what we think the practice requires. We are all unique and come to our mats with different stories.

Along this journey, I have become certified in Yoga for Cancer and a certified Essential Oil practitioner. After guiding students in practice for over 10 years, I feel I was ready to share my knowledge.

To me, yoga has become a way of life, a way to really be present, with myself and with others. To live this path is to share it as well. We are all students, with something to learn and something to teach.

+ Information about Jason

The journey into yoga life was not expected, predetermined or a vision. From an active life of running, cycling, rock climbing, lifting weights and numerous group sports I found myself on the mends, frequently. I would access yoga as a natural rehabilitation practice, but quickly disband once ailment was gone. An insightful yogi challenged me to be proactive about my well-being, rather than reacting to injuries. Challenge accepted.

First endeavor was in a physical practice of yoga. Then the mental/ spiritual was soon to follow. Finally, the door was opened in to the wholistic healing world of Ayurveda. Where every single avenue of my life is accounted for and addressed in a healthy and sensible method. I was hooked.

Over the years I have deepened my practices of yoga, of mindfulness, of whole body health, of connecting with the universe… I became so at peace with all that is and I became a much happier person. I would like to think I have enhanced the lives of those around me, too, but you would have to ask them.

My path:

Graduated 1994, Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering, Colorado State University.

April 2012, 200 hour yoga teacher certified, Yoga Alliance

E-RYT 200 and YECEP certified

April 2015, Ayurveda Consultant, American Institute of Vedic Studies

May 2017, Ayurveda Health Practitioner, California College of Ayurveda

December 2017, Ayurveda Health Counselor, California College of Ayurveda

November 2017, Certified Essential Oil Coach, American Association of Drugless Practitioners

August 2018, Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, California College of Ayurveda

I vow to always learn and grow. To be humble enough to know every person has a lesson for me. To emphasize love and compassion for one’s self and others. To remind everyone there is a direct purpose for existence, even if the path is not obvious. Grow as a community. Be a model for positive change.
